My last week in New York is almost up and I’m so sad to be leaving New York.
But before I leave I thoughts I’d give you an update on what I’ve been up to the past week.
Monday Was Labour Day here in America so most people where on Holiday. So since it was a holiday Monday I decided to go to a Yankee Game out at Yankee Stadium. The game was so much fun & even though I didn’t exactly know what was going on I had so much fun being apart of the atmosphere.
Tuesday Night I attended the taping of Late Night with Seth Meyers. This was such a great experience especially for a TV Nerd like me. You get to see how much work goes into creating these shows and Seth Meyers even came & interacted with the audience which made the experience even more fun.
Wednesday I headed to the The Met Museum I went last year also & I still feel like I haven’t seen everything the Museum has to offer.
Thursday was set aside for a few places in Greenwich Village & Chelsea that I still wanted to Visit. I walked the Highline, Visited Chelsea Market and wondered around Bleeker Street. I topped it off with Lunch at Jacks Wife Freda. Bet you can’t guess what I had…..
Thats right the Avocado on Toast, which was so yummy, It had this tomato Jam on top which I must find the recipe for.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday I kept it low key just walking around New York. Saturday I had dinner at Serendipity 3, I tried the famous Frozen hot Chocolate, which is defiantly not for me but I couldn’t go and not try it.
Sunday was spent downtown with a quick visit to 9/11 Memorial. Although I didn’t go to close I walked passed & it was full of people paying tribute to those who were lost. Being in a city as big as New York it’s so heartwarming to see everyone come together to pay tribute.
The next few days I have a few last minute things planned and I have tickets for Chicago tonight so looking forward to that.
