Aberdeen City Guides – Cafe’s

Cafe's

Finally back with another Aberdeen City Guide Post, this time around I’m sharing some of the best cafe’s in Aberdeen. This one has been a long time coming because I’ve had to go around each cafe & test them out! That’s just one of the perks of this series – although by waist line isn’t thanking me…

Now I haven’t covered all the cafe’s because I didn’t actually realise there were so many in Aberdeen. I have however covered some of my favourites & I have a list of some more at the bottom of the post.. So here we go.

Cafe's

The Craftsman – 2 Guild Street

The Craftsman is a new cafe in Aberdeen & It also doubles as a bar at night! The craftsman has a great rustic feel to it & they make a great cappuccino! Next time I’m defiantly going to try their fluffy pancakes & I will head there for a gin or two soon!

Cognito Cafe – 39 St Swithin Street

Cognito Cafe has been on my list of places to visit for ages & I finally found some time to head over a couple of weeks ago. And it didn’t disappoint, with a variety of snacks & beverages there’s plenty to choose from! They also include a small square of toffee with all their hot drinks which I think adds a great touch.

Cafe's

Corner Tree Cafe – 3 Whitehall Rd

Corner Tree Cafe is a new find for me after I seen it recommended by another aberdeen blogger. The Corner Tree Cafe is the sweetest little spot with great coffee and a wide selection of gluten free cakes – try the caramel shortbread its delicious. They also offer a full breakfast & lunch menu too, I might just have to head back for lunch some time soon!

Almondine – 39-43 Thistle St

Almondie is the perfect little afternoon tea spot. Specialising in Macaroons which are to die for, you can choose from a variety of different flavours. This would be the perfect spot for a girls afternoon tea.

Cafe's

The Coffee House – 1 Gaelic Lane

The Coffee House is a great little coffee shop just off of Belmont Street in Aberdeen. The Interior is really homely & rustic which makes it even more inviting. They do a variety of sandwiches, cakes, soups and drinks all with gluten free & vegan options.

The Bread Maker – 50-52 Rosemount Viaduct

The Bread Maker is a favourite of mine as they make the most delicious chocolate chip muffins. The Bread Maker is right across from my work so it’s perfect for grabbing a small mid morning treat!

Cafe's

Bonobo – 73-75 Skene St

Bonobo is another new cafe in Aberdeen and it’s completely vegan. Bonobo is right round the corner from my work so I’ve popped in a few times to try their cakes which are really really good! I’m yet to try any other their food but I’ve heard really good things!

Cult of Coffee – 28 Esslemont Avenue

This one I haven’t tried myself but my dad has went in for a coffee and he said it was really good. The cult of coffee is the perfect little cafe to work out of and to meet up with friends too!

Other Coffee Shops

Cup – 2 Locations – 9 Little Belmont Street & 16 Thistle Street

Haar Rock Cafe – 81 Charleston Rd Cove Bay

The Pier – Beach Esplanade

Sand Dollar Cafe – Beach Esplanade

FoodStory – 13-15 Thistle Street

The Deli – 65 Richmond Street

Books & Beans – 22 Belmont Street
