Aberdeen City Guides – Parks/Walks

City Guides City Guides
I’m finally back with another Aberdeen City Guide!

Anyway today I’m giving a run down of all the great parks and walks in Aberdeen! While the summer holiday’s may have ended there is still time to head to some of Aberdeen’s Parks before winter hits.

Seaton Park

When you step into Seaton Park it doesn’t feel like you are in Aberdeen. With the Beautiful flower gardens & the walk up to old Aberdeen you feel miles away from the city centre.

If you’re up for a mild hike Bennachie is the perfect location. I climbed Bennachie a few weeks back with some friends & its a great day out. Although be warned its a hell of a work out & choose a dry clear day otherwise you’ll get soaked at the top.

Duthie Park

Not Far from the City Centre Duthie Park is perfect for a quick walk or for taking the kids to the park. Duthie Park is also home to the Winter Gardens.

Haddo House

A little out of Aberdeen but definatly worth a visit is Haddo House. While your there check out the gardens surrounding the house aswell as the house itself and save room for some tea in the houses tea room!

Other Aberdeen Parks

  • Hazel Head Parks
  • Victoria Park
  • Westburn Park
