New In Beauty – January

I’m back this month with another ‘New in Beauty’ post. I had so much fun writing last months post so I wanted to keep this series going. This month I’ve been trying a few new beauty products & I’m really enjoying experimenting with new products

Skin Care

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Dry/Sensitive

After hearing great things about Liz Earle products I decided to give the Skin Repair Moisturiser face cream a go. My parents have used Liz Earle products for years and rave about the brand. I will usually wear this cream at night as I prefer a richer cream overnight. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I’m loving how amazing my skin feels. With it being so cold right now, my skin has been so dry but the Skin Repair Moisturiser has really helped keeping my skin moisturised.

Kiehls Overnight Masque

I’m a sucker for Overnight masks and the Kiehls Overnight Hydrating Masque has quickly become my favourite. I only use it once or twice ever one- two weeks but on the night I do wear it, I wake up with soft skin that feels hydrated too!

Make Up

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip

I’m having a bit of a moment with Bobbi Brown right now as I can’t stop buying their products. For Christmas I got the Crushed Lip Lipstick in the shade Lilac and its a perfect pink/nude shade which is a bit more than a everyday nude shade. I also picked up the shade Cali Rose in the Crushed Lip Colours, its a little more daring for me but I love it!

bareMinerals Bare Pro Foundation

Another Christmas gift was the bareMinerals Bare Pro Foundation in the shade Cashmere. I’d already tested it out before hand but after wearing it for a few days i’m a little on the fence with it.  The Foundation it’s self feels really lightweight once it’s on, so it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing foundation. Maybe its because my skins been dry with the weather but I find the foundation quite drying. It doesn’t blend into the skin all that well either. I’m going to keep testing it out over the next few weeks too see if I find it any better.

Bobbi Brown Eyeliner

Ever since getting my fringe cut in, I’ve been wanting to experiment more with my eye make up. So I went for some eyeliner from Bobbi Brown and I can’t get enough of this product. I went for the Long – Wear Gel Eyeliner in the shade Caviar Ink, I really like how it looks on. One thing it lives up to it’s Long -Wear name as I can never get it off my eyes!

Like I said before I have been loving trying out new beauty products and I feel this will be the year I get a good skin care & make up routine down. I can’t wait to continue doing more of these types of posts throughout the year.
