Before I get into today’s post, I had to mention Poppy. I went to take these photos and she would not leave me alone so we included her in the shoot and she really stole the show!
Over the last two week’s I’ve changed up my morning routine by getting up an hour earlier then usual.

I’m now setting my alarm for 6 am out of choice, you must think I’m crazy. There is a reason behind this (madness) change & I’m defiantly getting more out of my day.

It all started a couple of weeks ago when I started getting up 6 to go to the gym for a quick workout before work. I ended up feeling ten times better after my workout & more awake than any other morning. So I started doing this 3 times a week. I also found that on these mornings I managed to get so much done before 9am.

It then got me thinking why don’t I do this every morning?

So that’s what I did, I set my alarm for 6am & I gain an extra hour of my day. Somedays I’ll go to the gym, somedays I’ll read or I’ll blog.

I’ve really found that this extra hour makes me feel more awake in the mornings & gives me that little bit more time before I start my day. Because we all need a few more hours in the day don’t we?
