Finally the end of September! I always get excited at the end of September because my birthday is at the beginning of October! In fact my birthday is a week today & it’s my 21st so I’m especially looking forward to this birthday.
This month post consists heavily on TV shows I’ve been binge watching! Since spending the last six months watching One Tree Hill I’ve spent the last month catching up on missed tv shows. I even binge watched two shows in one week & I’m not even ashamed about it. In my defence one was only one season long… Okay before I embarrass myself anymore lets get onto this months favourites.
“Libra – Balanced and Just. They easily surround themselves with harmony and beauty. Keen intuitions, but often don’t give themselves enough credit for their perceptions. Romantic to the Core.”
A couple of weeks ago I finally bit the bullet and got my first tattoo. I went with the Libra constellation which is my birth sign. It makes the tattoo personal to me & its really simple. I can’t stop admiring it!
I Heart Series – Lindsey Kelk
With the release of the newest I heart series book I thought it was the perfect time to re-read Lindsey Kelk’s books. The I Heart Series follows Angela Clark who after finding her fiance sleeping with his mistress in the back of a car at her best friends wedding, hop foots it too New York and never looks back. Basically my perfect situation – aside from the cheating bf part. The I Heart books are a fun easy read that I always reach for when I’m in a reading slump.
This month also (finally) saw the return of Outlander, as a huge Outlander fan it has been a long wait between seasons. Finally into season 3 the show which follows Claire who travels back in time to 18th Century Scotland & falls in love with the handsome highlander Jamie. Claire and Jamie then try to change history & change the fate of the clansman at the Battle of Culloden. Season 3 picks up with Claire & Jamie apart & how they live without one another.
Only 3 episodes in but this has been an amazing start to the season! It’s been so emotional watching Claire & Jamie live their lives apart – Can you tell how emotionally invested I am in this show- I can’t wait too see their reunion I’ve heard its one of the best episodes yet!
Master of None
I recently watched Master of None & I flew through it in less than a week. Its fare to say I was obsessed. Written by Aziz Ansari it follows Dev as he navigates his personal & professional life in New York City. Master of None is hilarious & so relatable to any 20/30 somethings. Watch it you’ll love it.
