Aberdeen Restaurant Week is back again this week and I feel like this is going to be a good one this year. I’m excited to announce that I will be just one of the Aberdeen Bloggers Ambassadors for the event. I’m so excited to participate again this year and thank you to Aberdeen Inspired for asking me to be apart of this again this year.

Across Aberdeen a selection of local restaurants offer a £10 Lunch menu and a £20 Dinner menu for the run of Aberdeen Restaurant week. How great is that.. Each restaurant puts on a menu for the week offering you a variety of different options. You can head to your chosen restaurants across the week opting for a £10 lunch or a £20 dinner. Aberdeen Inspired puts on such a great event throughout the whole of the duration of Restaurant Week so be sure to head out and try as much restaurants as you can!
We dined at Angus & Ale and I was very excited to try out their food as its one place I’ve never eaten at before. And I wasn’t disappointed. The food was delicious!!
To start with me and dad had the Black Pudding Bon Bons. I have never really eaten black pudding before and I know it can be a bit disgusting when you think what goes into black pudding. But these bon bons were delicious. It was just enough for a starter too.
My Mum and Sister went for the Marinated Chicken Skewers these looked so good. I tried a little bit of my mums and the tasted good too. The came with this Honey Lime Sriracha sauce which had a bit of a kick to it but still tasted really good.
For mains the three girls went for the SchoolHill Special Burger. OMG this burger.. Words can’t even describe how good this burger was. Paired with perfectly salted chips it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried.
My dad went for the Marinated Bavette Steak which I didn’t try but it still looked amazing. He said it tasted amazing too so you know that it was a good steak.
As full as we were we couldn’t pass up trying some of the desserts Angus and Ale had to offer.
My dad & I went for the sticky toffee pudding. I’ve tired a lot of sticky toffee puddings from different places and this was one of the best. It just melted in your mouth and as much as I was stuggling at the end I had to finish it as it was too good not to clear my plate.
My mum went for the Raspberry cheesecake and my sister went for the Ultimate Brownie Sundae. She said the sundae was so good we literally didn’t hear a word from her the whole time she was eating it.
As well as the great food we also had the best service in Angus and Ale. A one man band for the night Tom was great and we had the best service from him.
Thanks again to Aberdeen Inspired for including me again this year I’ve had so much fun being an ambassador again this year. And also thanks to Angus and Ale for the food! We will definitely be back and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
