It’s been awhile since I shared a recipe her on the blog so today I’m sharing my recipe for Chilli.
This is the perfect meal for a cold winter’s night and it’s surprisingly easy to make. It’s one of those dishes that you can put on to cook then leave to soak up all the flavours. I only really tried Chilli for the first time last year and I’ve made it so many times since.
It’s an easy meal to cook because you can throw everything into a pan and all you have to do is let it cook. That being said I did end up burning the last batch I made so just be sure not to do that to yours.
1 Red Pepper
1 Beef Stock Cube
1 Can chopped tomatoes
1tsp of Chilli (eyeball)
1 tsp of paprika (eyeball)
1 tin of baked beans ( or other)
2 gloves of Garlic
- Chop up Vegetables
- Mash down mince until its browned
- Add in Veg
- Add chopped tomatoes + tomato Puree
- Pop in the stock cube
- Add in Chilli + Paprika
- Bring to Boil
- Put onto simmer for an hour then add tin of beans + any extra chilli if needed.
- Serve over rice to finish.
This is just a simple way to make chilli. You can always add in any vegetables you wish to make the dish your own. Usually I eyeball how much chilli I put in depending on how strong I want it to be.
