Back with another Monthly Edit today. I’m still trying to figure out if I like these posts but I’m sticking to it for now. April has been a weird month in terms of blogging and feeling motivated to get things done. I’ve found myself going through phases of creating plenty of content then. The next week all I want to do it sit inside and read my book. It’s a mix between the two and looking back April is always a bit like this for me. I think it’s the transitioning between seasons knocks me.
This month I’ve also had a couple of crazy dates which honestly makes me want to give up dating.. But that’s another story for another post.. In todays post I’ve rounded up a few things I’ve been loving this month and a few new in pieces too.
I picked up this khaki green jacket from New look a few weeks ago and it’s the perfect jacket for spring. I have been online window shopping at a few other pieces and I really want some new spring summer clothes my wardrobe is seriously lacking.
Last week I finished Narcos and I ended up loving the series. The first 2 seasons are definitely better but the third season is just as good!
After finishing Narcos I started watching Southern Charm. Its Charleston’s answer to Made In Chelsea. Based in South Carolina Southern Charm documents the life of America’s high society men and women of the South. Its one of those shows thats so bad its good. Got to love a bit of trashy tv sometimes.
Podcasts – U Up
After catching up on the girls gotta eat podcast I needed something to fill the relationship podcast void in my life and U Up did that. It’s very similar to Girls Gotta Eat in the aspect it covers mainly dating topics,U Up is hosted by Jared Freid and Jordana so it’s nice to hear a guys and girls perspective on some of these dating topics.
Books – Girl Logic
Girl Logic is by far the best book i’ve read this past month. Comedian Iliza Shlesinger’s book Girl Logic is a collection of essays all about how us girls act. How our Girl Logic changes the way we think and act in situations. This book is hilarious and scarily accurate.
